Lil Gallery was an artist-run exhibition space focused on providing opportunities for collaboration, investigation and conversation; the space aimed to provide a showcase for emerging and established artists.
Lil Gallery (est. February 2014, closed August 2015) was an artist run art space co-directed by Claire Felonis and Sara Grose and founded by Claire Felonis, Anton Auth, Dan Scully, Ian Reynolds, Stephen Leinhaas and Sara Grose. During the year and a half it was in operation the gallery exhibited over 60 artists. The space provided opportunities for collaboration, investigation and conversation; aiming to create a showcase for emerging and working artists. Lil’ Gallery actively participated in local art happenings including the Artist Run Art Fair at Artscape, Alloverstreet Art Walk and the Print and Multiples fair. The space provided an opportunity for artists to document, critique, ask questions and have conversations.
Lil Gallery was founded by Claire Felonis, Anton Auth, Dan Scully, Ian Reynolds, Stephen Leinhaas and Sara Grose.
The space and was co-directed and curated by Claire Felonis and Sara Grose.
